German mob Delta 4×4 has perfect antidote Ranger owners bored by their Raptors
So you’re bored of your Ford Ranger Raptor and you are keen to step it up a bit? Fear not, German Tuner Delta 4×4 has your back.
The company has taken the Raptor to a whole new level. A lift kit not only raises the SA-built bakkie to over two meters tall, but Delta has also given the bakkie a certain supertruck look.
BRING A LADDER
Ready to flatten the traffic the R40K 10 mm lift kit is aided and abetted by a R12K spring kit. R30Ks worth of wheel arch extensions make space for those 20 x 9.5 inch classic B aluminum rims. And earth grabbing Mickey Thompson 35 x 12.5R 20 rubber. All that will set you back a further R100K, free on board in Europe.
The big lift kit and 35-inch tyres raise the Ranger to a total height of 2.20 meters. You can also add those LED headlights for an extra R20K and mudguards for R14K. But you must supply your own ladder to get into the beast. All of which means that underground garages are no longer an option. Rest assured, its gravel pit ready and then some.
WAIT, THERE’S MORE FROM DELTA 4×4!
If that’s not enough, Delta 4×4 will inch you ten more up with a set of 40 x 13.5R17 tyres on 17 inch wheels. But be ready to part with a cool half-million rand before shipping and duty for those bits.
Delta 4×4 also offers a 195kW engine package for your Raptor. It adds 150 Nm to take the Ford 2-litre bi-turbodiesel up to 650 Nm.
