Winding down to the best, meet our surprising top three
Having announced our twelve Auto Best tests of 2023 through December, before selecting our Best EV, Best Bakkie, and Performance car of the year, it’s now down to the Best Test top three.
Surprisingly enough, they’re three basic, everyday cars, rather than glitzy flyers or brute bakkies. But these are actually the cars that impressed Auto’s test team the most of the 80 tested in the past twelve months and we present you, in alphabetical order, the Mercedes C200, Suzuki Fronx and Toyota Vitz.
Made right here in East London, the Mercedes-Benz C200 is a hell of a lot of car for the money, especially through Benz’ amazing Mobility plans. Slick and smart, will the Baby S emerge as our favourite test of 2023? Read our full impressions here:
Next up, the Suzuki Fronx. One of many splendid new Suzukis launched in South Africa in the past year, we liked the Fronx the most as it blends a certain sense of sporty style in a clever coupe SUV solution. Little wonder Suzuki is killing it onthe local market, but is it good enough for Auto’s Best Test gong for 2023? Here’s our test…
