Sweet seven-speed manual 911 Carrera T has a trick diff too
Porsche has added a Touring version to the 911 Carrera range. Slotting into the gap between the standard 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera S, Zufferhausen promises that the new 911 Carrera T brings improved driving dynamics over the base model.

911 Carrera T Expands Touring Range to Four
Packing the same 278 kW biturbo boxer-six engine as the regular Carrera, albeit now with a seven-speed manual gearbox and a mechanical rear differential lock. Porsche claims 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. The 911 Carrera T now expands the T for Touring range alongside the Porsche Macan T, 718 Cayman T and 718 Boxster T.
Fitted with staggered 20-inch front wheels and 21″ wheels at the rear, the car also gets a sports exhaust. A lightweight battery helps this new 911 tip the scales at 1470 kg. Or 35kg lighter than the 911 Carrera with an eight-speed PDK transmission.

A More Austere, Rowdier Cockpit
Design tweaks include gloss-black exhaust tips and dark-grey wing mirrors, door logos and rear grille trim. Step inside to a GT sports steering wheel and electric premium sports seats. The T’s rear seats are removed with reduced noise insulation for a rowdier cockpit.
911 Carrera T should appeal to owners keen optimise performance in a more personalised Porsche. The classic original 911 T first appeared in 1968 as a racing touring car. Deliveries commence spring 2023.
