Lexus SUV range benefits more improvements in that persistent pursuit of perfection
Kaizen. it’s a Japanese thing — the persistent pursuit of perfection. It’s something that goes hand in glove at Lexus too. Affecting everything from how it goes about business to its internal processes and most significantly, its products. To Lexus, Kaizen is an eternal commitment to perfecting what it does everyday.
A RAFT OF SMALL SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS
Lexus’ Kaizen philosophy is squarely behind a raft of small, but significant improvements across its SUV range. They bring that little bit extra novelty to enhance the customer’s driving experience, every time they hit the road. These latest Kaizen-inspired technology-focused upgrades add that little extra class to the LX, RX and NX line-ups.
Starting with the bold and angular Lexus NX, which already benefits its second Kaizen enhancement for 2020. The entry level’s hybrid range line-up now grows to two, with the EX joining the SE pn the range. The NX rev counter also gains a cool new pink zone leading into the redline; there’s a new hooter button with a compact Lexus badge, metallic cabin door handles and rear door keyless entry too.
NX also gets three new Terrane Khaki, Celestial Blue and Black body colour choices. Add fresh High Alloy wheels for the SE and Front and Rear Sonar Park Distance Control on upper models. Upper grade NXs also gain the phenomenal 14-speaker Mark Levinson sound with a new-generation amplifier and Active Sound Control.
LEXUS SUV SEATS INSPIRED BY KAIZEN
Moving on up, the Lexus RX even further enhances the premium values pioneered by the model’s previous generations. The sleek RX is set apart by its L-LED head and taillights and floating C-pillars in four model grades. Kaizen sees RX gaining enhanced quality seats across the bard. From Natural Leather in the EX to Natural High Leather for the upper grades.
The EX also gets Dynamic Auto Headlamps and seatbelt warning for all passengers. NX and RX come with Lexus’ best-in-class 7-year/105,000 km Warranty and Full Maintenance Plan. Standard with 15,000 km or annual service intervals.
And finally, the bold, powerful five or eight passenger V8-powered Lexus LX in 5.7-litre petrol and 4.5 turbodiesel. LX already comes with Adaptive High Beam LED headlights, roof rails and machine finished 20-inch alloys with a sporty feel.
Premium SUV Lexus LX spec upgrades include a new Terrane Khaki ultra contrast colour choice. And natural clay earth pigment Ochre interior trim in a cool a blend of clay and sand tones. Add standard wireless headsets, a new front seatbelt buzzer warning. And standard 7-year/100 000km Warranty and Maintenance Plan at 10,000km or annual servicing.
