We celebrate a favourite motoring title’s return with a test a day through Bakkie Week
Back by popular demand, theauto.page is delighted to introduce our new Bakkie page. Bakkie magazine was a popular source of regular South African pickup truck for 20 years. Until the internet culled the magazine show. Conceived by Mario and introduced by Auto publisher Michele Lupini in 1997, the title remained a regular aspect of our previous internet bouquet. Then Auto Bakkie Race morphed into Auto a few months ago.
BAKKIE WEEK BRINGS A TEST A DAY
Regular Bakkie readers have since demanded their very own page. Happily our arm is easy to twist! Now Bakkie is back as theauto.page/bakkie, right here on Auto. All out light commercial and lifestyle bakkie content can now be found right here in one place once again. And we’ll celebrate by publishing a bakkie road test a day for the rest of the week, right here.
Also follow our ongoing Toyota Hilux race history series running on the page right now. And don’t forget to follow the Dakar heere, daily from 3 January. We’ll keep you up to date with all the latest bakkie news, features, launches and info as it happens, every day going forward.
