F1 TO ADOPT REVERSE GRID RACES?

FORMULA 1 – Back to front grids back on the table after Monza magic

Sunday’s dramatic and against the grain Italian Grand Prix has prompted F1 officials to re-look reverse grid sprint races in place of qualifying at certain future races.

The Monza race served to completely reshuffle the race order after a series of incidents. Maiden winner Pierre Gasly led Carols Sainz and Lance Stroll home, both of whom had also not won in F1 before. That led to renewed fan calls for F1 to relook its 70-year old format, which many claim has become predictable and boring.
